Halloween Costumes

Sarah is a cowgirl this year, and Noah is a cow. Very cute.

And look--Sarah looks just like the popcorn ball face!

Yeah for me!

So, the kids went to bed and slept while...I voted! We got early mail-in ballots because there's no way I'm dragging myself anywhere 5 days after having a baby.

So, yeah for me and my civic duty. And it only took me 2 1/2 hours...silly me and actually reading the issues...

Sarah's new dress

  So, I finally finished Sarah's dress. I bought the pattern about a year ago. The only problem is that she appears to have grown in the few weeks between when I measured her and started sewing and when I finished. The top is a little tight trying to get her arms in it. So, she can wear it a couple times, maybe. Oh well. 

My own blog

Yeah, I could just post these on my website, but blog format is just so dang convenient. And I don't get overwhelmed by the thought of updating a whole month section of my website at a time. And I don't have to fight with stupid Yahoo Sitebuilder software.

I could also just post on the family blog...but do we really want to broadcast all the silliness to the whole world? I don't think the world could handle it. This is probably safer.
