Family Resemblance at 4 Months

Karen refused to smile at her appointment, so I picked smaller smiles for Sarah and Noah for comparison purposes. I think we have 3 different head shapes (circle, inverted triangle, oval) with very similar features.

How are your Kid-Decoding Skillz?

So, how much of Sarah's Grocery List can you decipher?

Just in case you're feeling confused...there are still two that I can't figure out. (Edit Update: I figured them out.)

Answers will be posted...sometime. :)

That's My Girl!

Can you make it out? "Investment Shares," "On 09/2006," "Price on...," "Market Value"

Sarah was copying out an investment account statement. :D

Noah's Continued Crime Spree

So, in the string of things perpetuated by Noah, we can now add nail polish and hair cutting. True, these issues have been thoroughly explored by his older sister, but it's always inspiring to see the next generation coming into its own. Don't you think?

So, similar to the painted-diaper-decorating of before, Noah got some gold glittery nail polish out and painted his tummy right above the diaper line...and inside the top of the diaper. Good thing the tabs were stuck tight, or we'd have had some difficulty removing it from sensitive skin, shall we say...which appears to have been the objective. :-o He and Daddy had a serious talk about boys and nail polish.

And after giving the rocking horse pegasus yet another trim (on top of Sarah's earlier episodes), Noah took some chunks off the top of his own head. I'm not entirely sure he didn't have help in this one, but he sure wasn't unhappy about it. The good news is that with him, I can just give him a buzz. Right in time for summer...and his picture appointment next week. :-/

Book Tag

Ginger tagged me specifically for this one. I feel all special. ;-)

So:
* Find the nearest book to you.
* Name the book and author.
* Turn to page 123.
* Go to the fifth sentence on the page.
* Copy out the next 3 sentences and post to your blog.
* Tag someone else.

We have The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho:

"She would have to send her kisses on the wind, hoping that the wind would touch the boy's face, and would tell him that she was alive. That she was waiting for him, a woman awaiting a courageous man in search of his treasure. From that day on, the desert would represent only one thing to her: the hope for his return."

Hmm. For a book that's so packed with stuff that begs you to quote it...that wasn't one of them. But there you go.

Oh...um, I don't know who specifically reads my blog ('cept KetchupQueen who already did this), so I guess you're it. (You know who you are.)
